Gail Sandra Francis Girard, 81, of Glendale passed away on Tuesday, April 23. She was originally from Minnesota, born on Nov. 3, 1937.

Gail came to California in search of a new life and, after working as a mortgage broker, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of entrepreneurship and opened Naughty Fannys lingerie boutique on Brand Boulevard in Glendale. It was there she seemed the happiest with friends always stopping in for conversation and an occasional drink. Once the mall and Victoria’s Secret came to town she was forced to close her shop. She went on to work for Felina lingerie as an account manager until her health forced her to quit.

She never married but enjoyed dating and lifelong friendships. She exuded class and was one of the most stylish women who ever graced Brand Boulevard. She put on fantastic fashion shows and was admired by many.

She is preceded in death by most of her family.

Gail is mourned by her cousin Raymond Weissmann and his wife Ellie and a host of close friends. A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at her apartment beginning at 7:30 p.m.
