Lawrence “Larry” Edwin June, 75, born on July 9, 1940, and died on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Verdugo Hills Hospital. He had Parkinson’s and dementia and was in a nursing home and in-and-out of the hospital. At the end he was in hospice care.
Larry was born in Detroit, Michigan and lived most of his life in Michigan. He attended school there and some college. He worked many different jobs, such as a mapmaker, and was a sales representative for Volkswagen before coming to California in 1976. When he was still working he was a handyman and worked for himself and really enjoyed it. He served in the Navy from 1960 to 1963.
He was a beloved husband, son, brother and friend.
Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret; mother Ida. H. Cramer, 98, in Wisconsin; sister Amy and her husband David. There are also many nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
He loved classical music and he loved to eat. He also liked to tinker with things. He was a sweetheart and always had a smile even toward the end when he was suffering so.
