Our beloved mother, Ann Archer, sadly passed away on May 2 at the age of 86.
She was a mother and friend to many, leaving her home open to many of her children’s friends when they had nowhere to go, and family and friends who might need a place to place their head. Her heart was open to anyone she met and she made friends wherever she went.
She actively participated with her children in scouting programs as they grew, and then attended her grandchildren’s sports games. In her active years, she and her husband traveled to see the sites in Alaska, Australia and more. She enjoyed volunteering and was an avid genealogist, traveling extensively looking for family roots. We honor her love of Girl Scouts and Descanso Gardens with donations to these great organizations.
Her husband, Lee Archer, and brother, Walter Rosenthal, predecease her. She leaves behind her adult children, their families and three grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.
Private burial will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
