Beatrice “Bea” Gero, 83, of Gardnerville, Nev. died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, July 6.
Born in Stafford Springs, Conn. on April 1, 1930, she was a resident of Tujunga for 28 years. The daughter of Frederick and Tessie Edgerton, she grew up and resided in Coventry, Conn. until 1967 when she moved with her husband and two children to Tujunga.
She graduated from Morro Beauty School in 1975 and was employed as a stylist for 20 years, working for Morro Beauty and Unique Hair and Nails, both located in La Crescenta, until retiring and moving to Gardnerville in 1995.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edmond Gero of Gardnerville; her daughter Cynthia Gero-Moore (Anthony) of Forest Lake, Minn.; her son Mark Gero of La Cañada; her grandson Jared Rosoff (Selinda) of Gardnerville; her granddaughter Mishayla Rose Moore; sister Virginia Christensen (William) of Spring Lake, Fla.; and a multitude of family, friends and neighbors who will miss her beyond measure.
A memorial for Mrs. Gero will be held at a later date.
