Mathilda “Liegh” Stalnaker

Mathilda “Liegh” Stalnaker passed away on June 10 after a six-month illness. She had been a 14 year resident of Solheim Lutheran Home in Eagle Rock. She was very active in Solheim’s many activities up until the last six months.

Mathilda was born in Hawaii on July 3, 1923 and came to the “mainland” during WWII. She leaves behind her daughter Nancy Traver and son-in-law Jerry; her son Craig Stalnaker and daughter-in-law Nanci; and three grandsons Shayne, Trevor and Kris Stalnaker.

Services are being held on Saturday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at Crippen, 2900 Honolulu Ave. in La Crescenta.
