Richard G. Frazier
Sept. 21, 1930 – July 28, 2011
A Korean War veteran, an outdoorsman since childhood, an entrepreneur and a great aficionado of the culinary arts, Richard’s life was full of adventure, joy and above all, love.
Richard passed away quietly at home on Thursday, July 28. His loving wife Dale, his sons Clay and Kevin, daughters-in-law Marie and Paula, his grandchildren Grayson and Linnea, Matt, Alex and Chris were close by his side for the last moments of his life. Their love will follow where he went. He is also survived by his sister Marilyn and her children Jane, John, Nancy and David.
Richard loved all parts of life, and took joy in his family as well as his business. No recipe went untested in his kitchen, nor did he turn down a glass of good wine. He traveled the world to explore, always coming home with several new friends who inevitably remained in his life. His love of literature was legendary and he always generously shared his books.
In lieu of flowers, any donation to The Dogs for the Deaf in memory of Richard will be deeply appreciated. Information can be found at dogsforthedeaf.org.
No service has been scheduled. A memorial will be held and family and friends will be notified.
