Jose I. Pereira, father of Helder Pereira and Josler Pereira, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 2:30 a.m. Jose had been a well loved member of the Glendale/La Crescenta community.

He is survived by his four grandchildren: Jennifer Janosky, Rebecca Pereira, Tristan Pereira and Rachel Pereira; as well as his daughter-in-law Carol Pereira. His love of life and great sense of humor will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at Montrose Church on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 1:30 p.m.
