Blanche Laurie Grossi, 91, passed away peacefully on Aug. 29 in her lovely home in Glendale. She was born in Rochester, N.Y. and lived in Glendale the past 36 years.

A loving mother and homemaker for over 50 years, she is survived by her daughter Laurie Cheney of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son Marco of Burbank; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a brother Emil Laurie of Santa Maria, Calif.

Visitation will be today, Thursday, at Crippen Mortuary Chapel from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass on Friday at 10 a m. will be held at St. James  Church, 4625 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.
