Sept. 7. 1927 – Oct. 1, 2018

Letha Faye Stephen was born in Hollywood to Earl and Mildred VanDenburgh on Sept. 7, 1927 and left us on Oct 1. She married the love of her life, John Stephen, on June 25, 1945. A daughter, Sharon Lorraine, was born to them in April 1946. Just before their 62nd anniversary John succumbed to congestive heart failure. Letha Faye was also preceded in death by her sisters Portia Price and Annette Smith and her brother John VanDenburgh.

Letha Faye was a focused, multi-talented and tenacious person. She was an artist, a writer, a builder, a cabinetmaker and designer as well as a mother and a good friend. She lived a full productive life.

She is survived by her daughter Sharon L. Jaskiewicz and son-in-law Anthony; grandson Aaron Simpson; great-grandson Nicholas Simpson. Also nieces Marie, Connie, Barbara, Joyce and Sandy and nephews David and Michael, foster son Bruce and godchildren Linda, Steven and Barbara. Her blended family includes three grandchildren: Robert, Kelly and Anthony; four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Letha Faye, you will be sorely missed.
