Linda Ann Bever has crossed the final bridge into the hereafter. On Tuesday, Oct. 18 Linda was found unresponsive and deceased in her family home in La Crescenta – the very same home she grew up in and shared with her loving family.
She was a true Baby Boomer, arriving in June 1948. Always quite the bundle of energy and light, she was a singer, dancer, painter, artist and quilter.
Linda graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 1966. She spent 25 years in her professional career as a paralegal with the law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton, LLP, of Los Angeles. She was an accomplished educator for the Community College District of Los Angles and very passionate about her work.
She was preceded in death by her father Marvin Bever and her mother Fern Bever of La Crescenta. Linda is survived by her younger sister Susan Bever Oncea of Glen Ellen, California and Sunriver, Oregon; brother-in-law Charlie Oncea; niece Kim Oncea Priebe and Griffin Priebe; great-niece Addie and great-nephew Augie of Sunriver, Oregon; nephew Charlie Oncea and Sareena Oncea; great-nephews Charles Finley and Nolan Boone of Gladstone, Oregon. Linda is also survived by nephew Joshua Elder, Aimee Elder, Max Elder and Seth Elder of Fontana, California, and many loving friends of the greater Los Angeles community.
Linda Bever will be greatly missed by all.
