1937 – 2013

Carol Curtis passed into life eternal on Dec. 18 in Los Angeles. Although born in Wichita, Kans., she spent the majority of her years in the Cañada-Crescenta foothills and surrounding areas. She graduated from local schools, attended the University of Redlands, married and became the mother of four.

Always interested in the arts – in any form – Carol continued her studies in painting and drawing on a part-time basis at GCC, PCC and through adult education classes. In the 1970s she began studying theater arts at LAVC and began performing with Theatre Americana in Altadena for several years.

Carol employed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for 22 years before her retirement. She is survived by her two brothers Daniel L. and William C. Curtis; one son; two daughters; five grandchildren; and three nieces.
