St. Luke’s Anglican Church Introduces Fellowship Feast
St. Luke’s Anglican Church welcomes the community to attend its Fellowship Feast on the third Wednesday of every month through June. Serving as a community outreach for people of all ages, faiths and backgrounds, Fellowship Feast’s mission is to feed the body and soul of all in attendance. The format includes a homily delivered by Fr. Rob Holman, communion and a home-cooked meal prepared and served in a very intimate, warm and inviting fellowship environment.

Known as the Soup Group for 33 years, this ministry was so-named because a church member opened a single can of soup and fed it to the four people in attendance at the time. It was originally designed as a specific outreach to the congregation’s senior members. The new name, Fellowship Feast, more accurately describes the ministry.

“It’s about feasting on God’s love and good food with wonderful fellowship and now lovingly reaches a much broader cross section of all ages. Our youngest members are little babies,” said Donna Hogstedt, ministry leader.

The Fellowship Feast meets at the Lutheran Church in the Foothills, 1700 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada at 11:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of the month. The next Fellowship Feast will be Jan. 16. All are welcome to attend. For more information please contact St. Luke’s Anglican Church at (818) 249-5100.

St. Luke’s welcomes the community to attend its weekly Sunday worship services. A traditional 8 a.m. service is followed by a 10:15 a.m. contemporary family worship service. Services are held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Chapel, 300 Vallejo Dr., Glendale. St. Luke’s also invites the community to attend its monthly 4th Friday Healing Services on the fourth Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the church offices, 3901 Foothill Blvd., 2nd Floor, La Crescenta.
