Bi-lingual Service at St. Luke’s
On Sunday, Jan. 27 St. Luke’s of the Mountains will gather for all congregation worship at 10:30 a.m. then celebrate a bi-lingual worship at 11 a.m.

Annual congregation meeting immediately following worship. Potluck lunch to follow in the Parish Hall so bring something to share!

Tuesday Table Talk
On Tuesday, Feb. 5, Bethel Church will offer a presentation by Sgt. Miguel Najarro, U.S. National Guard, on Afghanistan, the people, the culture, and the military challenges. Sgt. Najarro will be deployed to Afghanistan later this month.

The presentation will be preceded by a potluck supper. The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m.; the presentation starts at 7:15 p.m. followed by dessert and discussion at about 8:15 p.m. This is a free event.

Music Event Fundraiser at St. George’s
On Saturday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. St. George’s Episcopal Church is hosting “A Spontaneous Encounter with Music,” a music for charity event to benefit Parkinson’s disease research. Program presenters will be Susanne Shapiro, keyboard, Anthony Brazier, flute, Mary Torregrossa, poet, Lysbeth Chuck, Lois Zanteson, watercolor art, Ruth-Ann Carlock, oil art, Sarah Freed, sketching.

Come watch, participate, or meditate. Admission is free, donations to St. George’s Episcopal Church will be donated to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. For further information, call Connie at (310) 963-1480.
