The Italian Catholic Federation (ICF) will hold its annual membership drive on Sunday, March 3, from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Bede Parish Center. The Italian Catholic Federation is a family-oriented, non-profit fraternal organization that promotes activities that build faith and family spirit and unite men, women and children of all ages. ICF members share their culture, heritage and religious beliefs. We believe that together we accomplish more than one can alone. We support our local parishes, fund various scholarships and provide various charities with financial and other support. The only requirement to join is being Catholic. Many members are not Italian. In addition to the organization’s charitable contributions, there are many group activities. This year, the group will visit the Reagan Library, celebrate Mass at Lakeside Golf Club followed by a champagne brunch, and view the “Cabrini” movie as a group. Once again, college professors will offer and teach Italian language classes.
