This Week at LCIF
All are invited to join Lutheran Church in the Foothills for Holy Week for online worship gatherings. Gather for a time of prayer and Scripture on Maundy Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m. The Good Friday gathering will be at 7 p.m. on April 10 exploring what the cross means in this time. A resurrection celebration from the church’s worship center will be Easter Sunday, April 12, at 10 a.m. All of these opportunities for worship can be found at www.facebook.com/lcifoothills/videos as the congregation continues to gather online to stay “Safer at Home.” Bulletins for children and adults (along with games for children and a Bible quiz for adults) are also available on the website. Happy Easter!
Those who need help or just need to talk are encouraged to email the church at office@lcifoothills.org or call the church office at (818) 790-1951. Prayer requests, needs and offers to help are most welcome. The staff is connecting those with needs to those who can help.
The building at 1700 Foothill Blvd was never the church – we are the church. We will get through this together.
Lutheran Church in the Foothills, the “touchdown” church, is located at 1700 Foothill Blvd. For more information, call (818) 790-1951 or visit www.lcifoothills.org.
Easter Story Celebrated
A free outdoor art presentation of pictures showing the Easter story, along with Easter music, will be on display on Easter Sunday, April 12, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 2337 Del Mar Road in Montrose. It is provided by a private citizen wanting to share the Easter message with those who are unable to gather with their congregations to celebrate Easter.
Physical distancing protocols will be observed.
