Easter Celebration

Bethel Church in Sun Valley is offers an Easter sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. on April 16 and offers a free fellowship breakfast at 8:30 a.m., worship and praise service at 10 a.m., followed by a children’s egg hunt.

Lent at Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church

Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church offers Maundy Thursday Service on April 13 at 7:30 p.m.

Easter is on April 16. Sunrise Service will be held in the church community garden at 6:30 a.m.; traditional service is at 10 a.m. followed by brunch.

This Week at LCIF

Lutheran Church in the Foothills will host a free egg hunt on Easter Sunday (April 16) morning for toddlers to sixth grade children. The egg hunt starts at 9:30 a.m. on the church’s front lawn although the youngest children hunt on the courtyard. The hunt is preceded by a brunch beginning at 8:30 a.m. and followed by a festival worship service at 10 a.m. A $5 donation is requested for the brunch, part of a fundraising event for the church’s youth group summer activity.

Folks often take a family picture at the Flower Cross which is made from a variety of cut flowers that members bring from their gardens. A yearly picture at the Flower Cross helps track time as children grow or family members are added.

All are invited to enjoy Easter with Lutheran Church in the Foothills.

Life Improvement Courses Offered

The Church of Scientology Mission of the Foothills is offering variety of courses to better one’s life and relationships. Among the many courses offered are “How to Improve Relationships with Others,” “Successfully Raising Children” and “Knowing Who You Can Trust.”
