Over 50 children and their families were treated to an afternoon of Easter fun on Saturday, hosted by the Church of Scientology Mission of the Foothills.

Photos were taken with the Easter Bunny and children decorated cookies and created custom Easter bags, participated in an Easter egg hunt and enjoyed refreshments. And they all wanted to play with the real live bunnies!

“My daughter loved the bunnies!” said Deedee Hsu of Sunland. “[It was the] highlight of her day!”

“The kids all had such a great time,” added Arriana Beattie, another foothills resident. “The Church put on such a great community activity that all were able to participate in.”

The Mission is best known to locals for its annual Halloween Haunted House and plans to make a tradition of the Easter activities as well, both gifts to the community.
