Blessing of the Animals at Shadow Hills Pres
A beloved community tradition continues when Shadow Hills Presbyterian Church celebrates the Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Arlo Tysinger will pray for each animal that is present and a complimentary photo will be taken. Andy’s hot dogs will be available also.

The community is invited to bring their horses, cats, dogs, llamas, iguanas, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rabbits, lizards, birds – all of furry, feathered, hairy and scaly friends are welcome!

Tuesday Table Talk  
On Tuesday, May 5, Bethel Church in Sun Valley will offer a showing of the film “Million Dollar Arm” (rated PG).

Looking to save his failing business, a sports agent launches a reality show to find India’s best cricketers, with the goal of turning them into professional baseball players and signing them to major league contracts.

The video will be preceded by a potluck supper. The potluck starts at 6:30 p.m., the video presentation starts at 7:15 p.m., followed by dessert and discussion at about 9:15 p.m. Free to attend.

Spring Parish Concert
On May 16 at 8 p.m., the combined choirs of St. Bede the Venerable Church and the East Los Angeles College as well as the brass ensemble at St. Bede will present a spring concert featuring John Rutter’s “Gloria” and other works.

The parish choir and the East LA College choirs are comprised of local young talented artists. Donation of $15 requested.
