This Week at LCIF
All are invited to Lutheran Church in the Foothills on Sunday, May 29 at 10 a.m. to celebrate the day of Pentecost! The morning begins with the new Children’s Gathering at 9 a.m. that coincides with youth and adult book study. Following that, all will worship as a family when Pastor Scott Peterson preaches on the topic “Winds of Change.”
Regular time of fellowship follows with coffee, donuts, and breakfast treats.
Register online for “Shipwrecked,” this year’s Vacation Bible School program. The dates are July 9 through July 13 from 9 a.m. to noon. More details are available at www.lcifoothills.org/vbs. (Early bird registration through June 10: $25/per child!)

The Truth About Domestic Violence
The LAPD will present an interactive class on Sunday evening, May 20 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bethel Church for adults addressing the types of domestic violence and how to handle and react to such abuse. Officers will be on-site to answer questions about this critical issue. Childcare will be provided.
The LAPD talk will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6:15 p.m. All in the community are invited and welcome.
