Conquering Stress
Are you stressed out? This Sunday, July 13, Pastor Bill Flanders will begin a series titled Conquering Stress. The public is invited to join us at First Baptist Church – La Crescenta as we learn how to handle the pressures and stress of modern life. The series is on Sunday, July 13, 20 and 27 at 10:45 a.m.

Cowboy Church Coming to CSL
The Center for Spiritual Living – La Crescenta is preparing for Cowboy Church on Sunday, July 13 at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend – whether in cowboy clothes or not!

Please RSVP at (818) 249-1045 to reserve a space for yummy barbecue that includes barbecue chicken, tri tip, corn on the cob, potato salad, beans, cole slaw and watermelon. (An accurate count is needed for caterer, Rosie’s BBQ, by July 7.)

Tickets for adults are $25 and children from 6-12 are $10. There will be a very limited number of tickets for sale on the day of Cowboy Church.

There will also be great auction items!

Then on July 16 at 7 p.m., the public is invited to the Wednesday night topic “Healing Meditation” with Denise Forlizzi, RScP.

Your spirit will soar as Denise guides you through a beautiful meditation with her singing bowls and gongs.

Love donation will be collected.

The Center for Spiritual Living is located at 4845 Dunsmore Ave. in La Crescenta.

VBS at Bethel
“Kingdom Rock” Bible school is for children kindergarten through eighth grade and takes place July 21 – July 25 from 9 a.m. to noon at Bethel Church. There will be singing, Bible lessons and crafts; snacks are included.
