Education Classes at LCPC
Speaker Richard Lyon, marriage & family therapist, will be making a presentation during the La Cañada Presbyterian Church Growing Families ministry on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 9:30 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Dr. Lyon will explore different approaches to understanding the children in our lives.
LCPC Parent Education continues its six-week night session titled Parent Express for parents of ’tweens to teens. Classes meet Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through Nov. 13. It covers a variety of important topics including bonding, power struggles, substance abuse, anxiety/depression and raising a well-rounded child.
People may attend all, some, or one of the classes. Tuition costs $60 for
the entire series or $10 per class at
the door with free childcare available for children 0-12 per RSVP to
heather@lacanadapc.org.

Holiday Boutique at TUMC
The United Methodist Women of Tujunga is having its annual holiday boutique on Saturday Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tujunga United Methodist Church. Many beautiful and creative gift ideas will be available for purchase, as well as some very tempting and delicious ones, too! Be sure to arrive early and bring the entire family to this exciting once-a-year event.
