Education Classes at LCPC
Speaker Richard Lyon, marriage & family therapist, will be making a presentation during the La Cañada Presbyterian Church Growing Families ministry on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 9:30 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Dr. Lyon will explore different approaches to understanding the children in our lives.
LCPC Parent Education continues its six-week night session titled Parent Express for parents of ’tweens to teens. Classes meet Wednesday nights from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. through Nov. 13. It covers a variety of important topics including bonding, power struggles, substance abuse, anxiety/depression and raising a well-rounded child.
People may attend all, some, or one of the classes. Tuition costs $60 for
the entire series or $10 per class at
the door with free childcare available for children 0-12 per RSVP to
heather@lacanadapc.org.

Holiday Boutique at TUMC
The United Methodist Women of Tujunga is having its annual holiday boutique on Saturday Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tujunga United Methodist Church. Many beautiful and creative gift ideas will be available for purchase, as well as some very tempting and delicious ones, too!
