Blood Drive at Rosemont
Rosemont Middle School is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Monday, Nov. 2 from 1 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the school cafeteria. California’s blood supply is low and donors are needed! Those who can donate can visit redcrossblood.org and enter Rosemontms as the sponsor code. Donors can register and choose an appointment time. Red Ribbon Presentation
On Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., there will be a Red Ribbon presentation at Toll Middle School. This is a free event. Parents and students will enjoy interactive activities.

Local Boy to be Honored
Desmond Sieburth, a resident of Montrose and a student of Saint Elizabeth School, is a first place winner of Action For Nature’s 2015 International Young Eco-Hero Award. Sieburth will be honored for his activism as a Wild Bird Advocate on Oct. 24 at a reception in San Francisco.
