St. Bede The Venerable had a birthday celebration on Sunday, Oct. 6. Hundreds of people and children of all ages came together for an evening of fun.
Guests were welcomed to the Roaring ’20s themed event complete with a classic car display by the LCF Early Rodders, scotch tasting, delectable food and treats, live music and dozens of children’s game booths. Adventurous kids climbed a giant “mountain” and were treated to sprayed on tattoos, a beanbag toss and other family games. Adults enjoyed music by Misplaced Priorities and dinner under a decorated outdoor tent that transformed the parking lot into an elegant 1920s ballroom. A silent auction featured unique and interesting items for people to bid and win. Msgr. Antonio Cacciapuoti blessed the crowd and cut the birthday cake to mark the parishes’ 62nd birthday.
