La Cañada Presbyterian Church Parent Education kicked off its 39th year at its annual board/staff retreat at Linda Fults’ home in Newport Beach. The retreat, led by director Anne Bierling, brought together the staff, volunteer board, and Ministry Support Team to plan for the year ahead, using Psalm 34: 4 – 5: “I sought the Lord and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears” as their guiding theme. The 2017-18 Parent Education Team includes 15 staff members, 12 volunteer board members, and eight volunteers who serve on the Ministry Support Team.
