Perhaps better known for its annual Metaphysical Faire, the Center for Spiritual Living in La Crescenta recently held a rummage sale, also an annual event. The rummage sale has been held at the Center for about 30 years. During the 2½ years of the COVID pandemic, the sale was held outside on the Center’s grounds.

The sale on Oct. 21 was held inside the Center – the first time since COVID. Customers were happy to oblige.

Community members looking for a good deal made sure to stop by the Center for Spiritual Living-La Crescenta.

“There is a lot of good, household stuff,” said Glendale resident Cecelia Walker. In fact, China settings and crystal vases stood out among more prosaic items such as toasters and utensils. Claudia Chicas bought a $1 basketball game for son Legend’s birthday.

The Center for Spiritual Living celebrates spiritual traditions. People on all spiritual paths – among them Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, New Age and others – are all welcome at the Center, 4845 Dunsmore Ave (xst Santa Carlotta) in La Crescenta.
