St. George’s Offers Ethics Series
St. George’s Episcopal Church in La Cañada will be offering a six-week course created for the wider community entitled, “Ethics: The Final Frontier.”
The six-week mission is to watch six different “Star Trek” episodes to explore, discern and name ethical problems, and to discuss how these issues related to our lives in the 21st century. The goal of the class is to boldly go where no evening program has gone before!
The class will meet Wednesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the church’s newly renovated and rebranded church hall named The Nourishing Spirits Center. The group will end its ethical voyage on Nov. 14.
To cover the cost of refreshments, a $5 donation is requested at the door or a $20 donation for the entire series.
The class is offered free of charge, but it would be helpful if people would call or email the office as to accommodate people attending. The church office can be reached at (818) 790-3323 or by email office@saintglc.org.
St. George’s is located at 808 Foothill Blvd, La Cañada Flintridge.
