St. Luke’s Anglican Church Prepares for Christmas Projects
St. Luke’s Anglican Church is preparing for a number of upcoming Christmas ministry projects to benefit children, give thanks to military soldiers and support young mothers-to-be, among other annual Christmas projects.

Elizabeth House, a local Pasadena ministry supporting young mothers-to-be, hopes to have 45 new moms adopted by area families. This ministry provides a group home shelter for new mothers in need in the early months following their delivery. St. Luke’s has provided ongoing support to this ministry for many years. A Dec. 10 Christmas party will unite the new moms with their adopted families.

St. Luke’s military ministry provides care packages to soldiers who are relatives and family members in all branches of the military. As part of the Christmas care packages, children at St. Luke’s create handmade ornaments and write special letters to the soldiers.

St. Luke’s welcomes the community to attend its weekly Sunday worship services. An 8 a.m. traditional worship service precedes the 10:15 a.m. contemporary family service.

For more information, check the website, www.stlukesanglican.org or contact Parish Administrator Kay Wisdom at (818) 249-5100 or kay@stlukesanglican.org.

All services are held at the Seventh Day Adventist Church Chapel, 300 Vallejo Dr. in Glendale.
