Father Gregg Dongklore, a priest of the Diocese of Waa in Ghana, West Africa who spent five years in La Cañada Flintridge at St Bede the Venerable Roman Catholic Church while studying for his doctorate at Claremont College, is shown above surrounded by several members of the Italian Catholic Federation at St. Bede.

While at St. Bede, Father Gregg served as chaplain of the group. Having previously served in Rome, he is fluent in Italian. The popular priest is visiting with old friends and is a guest of pastor Monsignor Cacciapuoti for the Christmas season. Father Gregg earned a Ph.D. in educational leadership at Claremont and currently serves as a leader of educational programs for Ghana’s schools.

Gloria and George Klump, organists and pianists, entertained ICF members with Christmas tunes led by Mary Wynton at the branch Christmas party held on Dec. 17 in the Parish Center. Branch President Abbay is a native of Sri Lanka and is beginning her second term as president.
