Frank Pastore, author of the book “Shattered,” will be the guest speaker at the St. Bede School general parent meeting on Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.

Pastore will also be the guest speaker at the St. Bede Monthly Book Club meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 10 a.m. in the parish center. All parishioners, as well as members of the community, are invited.

For the past six years, Pastore has been the host of one of the most-listened to live Christian talk show in the country, heard weekday afternoons in Los Angeles from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on 99.5 KKLA.

For the past 31 years, he has been married to his wife, Gina, and they have two adult children and a grandson.

Prior to his career in talk radio, for seven years Pastore pitched in the big leagues with the Cincinnati Reds before going to seminary at Talbot, and also getting a master’s degree in political philosophy at Claremont Graduate University.
