The Crescenta Valley girls’ basketball team has had an up-and-down season so far in the Pacific League. After Tuesday’s 50-47 loss to Glendale High School, the Lady Falcons sit at 2-3 in league (12-7 overall) and in fifth place, a game behind 3-2 Arcadia. CV led Glendale 24-17 at the half, but was outscored in each of the last two quarters. The Falcons also suffered a non-league loss on Jan. 4 against Saugus High, 60-45.

The day before, at least, was an easy one. CV hosted Muir on Jan. 3, and easily put them aside, 64-37. At one point in the third quarter, they led 38-15. The team relied on Katrina Minassian and Amee Petrossian throughout the game to put defeat the Mustangs.

Hope Shelton.

The Falcons will get a rematch against Glendale on Jan. 28 and they will play Friday at Arcadia at 5:30 p.m.
