Gladiator Youth Football and Cheer Signups

As of March 1, the La Cañada Gladiators Youth Football and Cheer programs opened registration for the 2017 football season. Registration and payment are online. Football and Cheer applications will be available on the Gladiator webpage at www.lcgladiators.org.

The Gladiator program is open to girls and boys ages 6 to 14.  The Gladiators field one flag team, four tackle teams and several cheer squads. The season begins on July 31 and the regular season ends the first weekend in November.

Last year saw all four Gladiator tackle teams make the playoffs, and one team, the Jr. Midgets, completed an undefeated season and won the conference championship. Although one of the smallest franchises participating in San Gabriel Junior All-American Football, in the last 12 years the Gladiators have captured 27 league championships and 13 conference championships.

Early registration is strongly encouraged as spaces fill up quickly and team rosters are capped at 33 players for each tackle team, 20 players for the flag squad and 45 for each cheer squad. Information can be found on the Gladiators’ webpage.
