Village, CV Baseball Keep Winning

The Village Christian High baseball team defeated Heritage Christian 10-1 on Tuesday to bring its record to 4-1 in the Olympic League, tied with Maranatha for first place. The Crusaders are 8-2 overall.
Village suffered its first defeat in league on March 24 against Maranatha, 5-1. Playing against Heritage seems to be a cure all, as the Warriors are 0-5 in league.
On Tuesday, Josh Aragin led the way with two hits and three runs batted in. Devyn Nordstrom was the winning pitcher, going five innings, striking out four batters and walking two.
VCS plays Heritage again on Friday at Tujunga Little League Field, at 3:30 p.m. On April 4 they are at Valley Christian at 4 p.m.
The Crescenta Valley baseball team is 12-1 and 1-0 in the Pacific League after defeating Glendale High on Tuesday 6-0. The Falcons host Glendale at Stengel Field on Friday at 7 p.m., and then play at Hoover High on April 4 at 3:30 p.m. The schedule for CV is such that each opponent is set up as a home and home this season, where both teams play one another back-to-back in the same week, compared to spreading out the scheduling as before.
