The U6 Baseball Tournament Team for Crescenta Sports Association competed in the Newbury Park Memorial Classic Tournament recently finishing second in its pool. It was able to advance to the semifinals after overcoming an 11-17 deficit by scoring nine runs and getting three outs with only 20 minutes remaining in the game. Team leaders Nathan Hunstable and Jordan Lamm were helped by incredible defensive play throughout the tournament of Zachary Roh, Sean Oshiro and Matthias Mihld. The offense was powered by Teddy Amorosi, who hit a home run, followed closely by other power hitters such as Lucas Ponce, Adam Grau and Sean Kosco.
