Crescenta Sports Association’s 10U Tournament Team ended the summer tournament season with either a first or second place in each of its four outings to finish the season 15-2 overall.

At the Irvine Memorial Day Tournament, the CSA team went 5-1 placing second against a Mexico team in a rousing international event that ended with the boys trading pins and T-shirts and singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” to each other in English and Spanish.

At the North Valley Invitational, the CSA team took first place honors, going 3-0 to win its second straight tournament title over host North Valley.

At the La Cañada Summer Smash in June, the team again took first place winning all five of the games played and winning the championship game over La Crescenta Thunder 13-2.

At the USSSA All Star Extravaganza at the Chino Hills Field of Dreams, the CSA team fought through the blazing July heat to win first place in its bracket in the championship game over Cheviot Hills, 8-6.
