The last Crescenta Valley cross-country All-Comers meet will be held Aug. 9 at Crescenta Valley Park. All levels of runners are invited to participate. There will be two races, a 2K run, which starts at 6 p.m., and a three-mile run beginning at 6:25 p.m. There is a $5 entrance fee for all participants, which helps support the CVHS running programs. So far this summer there have been many high schools around the Southland that participated, including Burbank, Notre Dame and Flintridge Prep, as well as Crescenta Valley.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. near the baseball fields at the east end of the park, 3901 Dunsmore Ave.
