The Crescenta Valley boys and girls cross-country team has had to dig deep for new team leaders. achieved a sweep both in the boys and girls cross country meet.  First place runner CIF Ammar Moussa from Arcadia ran 15:20.53 while his teammates taking second, fourth and fifth places. CV’s Mike Duncan, who placed sixth, was the first CV runner who ran a time of 15:53.22. The CV boys placed fourth in the overall standings. The girls’ varsity team winner was won CIF leader Catrina McAlister with a time of 18:50.25 followed by CV’s Claudia Pham who placed second with a time of 19:01.47 and Anneke Kakebeen who placed eleventh with a time of 20:05.06.
