The latest episode of CVW Sports focuses on Jim Smiley, a former Crescenta Valley High School student, coach and current teacher. Smiley was a Falcon basketball player in the 1980s, and took over as varsity coach in the 1990s. He is currently a popular teacher, having won numerous Teacher of the Year awards voted by the CV students for his classes in History, Sociology and Psychology.
