Challenges Schiff Vaccine Statement

In a recent newsletter from Adam Schiff, “Rep. Schiff has called on Facebook, Google and Amazon to address a threat to the public health caused by the proliferation of misinformation about vaccines.” He also said, “The scientific and medical communities are in overwhelming consensus that vaccines are both effective and safe. There is no evidence to suggest that vaccines cause life-threatening or disabling diseases, and the dissemination of unfounded and debunked theories about the dangers of vaccinations pose a great risk to public health.”

Wow, what a statement!!!

I wonder if Adam has ever read the letter that the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons sent to the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee on Feb. 26, 2019. Here are a few excerpts:

“The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) strongly opposes federal interference in medical decisions, including mandated vaccines.” They further state, “There are no rigorous safety studies of sufficient power to rule out a much higher risk of complications, even one in 10,000, for vaccines. Such studies would require an adequate number of subjects, a long duration (years, not days), an unvaccinated control group (placebo must be truly inactive, such as saline, not the adjuvant or everything-but-the-intended-antigen), and consideration of all adverse health events (including neurodevelopment disorders). Vaccines are necessarily risky, as recognized by the U.S. Supreme Court and by Congress. The Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid some $4 billion in damages, and high hurdles must be surmounted to collect compensation. The damage may be so devastating that most people would prefer restored function to a multimillion-dollar damage award.”

And further it states: “The smallpox vaccine is so dangerous that you can’t get it now, despite the weaponization of smallpox.”

Safe and effective really? Does Adam believe the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons is lying or misinforming the public? Does he want Facebook, Google, and Amazon to ban their article too?

The bottom line is that the AAPS recommends informed consent, not enforced government mandate. Healthcare should never be mandated.

The complete article can be read on their website aapsonline.org. Specific reference available on request or the link is found in the online version of this letter.

I encourage Adam Schiff and all CV Weekly readers to read the full article https://aapsonline.org/measles-outbreak-and-federal-vaccine-mandates/.

Dangerous Decisions

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and 20-year member of La Crescenta Woman’s Club. I have been an HVAC installer for almost 30 years. Recently, I became aware of a frightening change in our industry. There is “a push in the industry to migrate to flammable refrigerants in the near future.” This is a direct quote from Indoor Comfort (www.indoorcomfortnews.com) – a newsmagazine for the HVACR industry. According to the article, these low Global Warming Potential refrigerants have no odor. At this time, there are no reliable leak detection devices on the market that would warn homeowners, or technicians, of the inherent danger associated with these refrigerants. First responders will need new personal protection equipment and be trained to mitigate a fire incident involving these A2L refrigerants.

Manufacturers are “under the gun” to produce product lines to meet the new energy efficiency requirements. Manufacturers have self-imposed a deadline for equipment using the flammable refrigerants. They are trying to accomplish both at the same time. These odorless, flammable refrigerants will produce hydrofluoric acid when introduced to a flame. How is that helping our ozone??

Research, safety techniques and proper training for installers, technicians and fire personnel should be priorities. Let’s not rush. This could be a major disaster waiting to happen.
