Stick to the Standards

The Community Input letter by the Crescenta Highlands Association (Letters to the Editor, June 24) regarding the proposed development on the old Trader Joe’s property was well worded. We also support development, but do not understand why projects that exceed our Community Standards are even given “air time” by our elected officials. Such projects should never even be considered or actually proposed. Foothill Boulevard will become nothing more than a concrete and stucco tunnel, completely ruining the beauty of our beloved valley.

Build to the code, including approved and accepted standards, or go home!
