Messing Up City Sidewalks

During my walks in the neighborhood I’ve noticed lately that individual items of furniture (usually a chair) are being left neatly on areas of the city sidewalks. I have to wonder if one person drives around at night dropping off a chair here and there to rid themselves of them, or have others noticed the odd chair and thought to themselves, “Aha! That’s how I’ll get rid of that nasty recliner!”

Whatever the thought process, at least these individual chairs are left on the city sidewalks and not in front of people’s homes! (That was a nasty trend a few years ago causing unsuspecting people to have to remove items at their expense. This way the city has to pay for these chairs to be removed.)

Whatever the reason, I wanted to share with you my appreciation of clever people in my neighborhood.

With tongue in cheek,
