Supports Proactive Approach

The recent rupture of a 70+-year-old water main under Pennsylvania Avenue looks like a perfect example of why La Crescenta residents should support Crescenta Valley Water District’s currently proposed rate increase, and encourage CVWD’s Board of Directors to catch up on replacing our aged-out water and sewer mains. Replacing this infrastructure proactively is far less costly and disruptive than waiting for them to fail, taking newly paved streets and residents’ front yards with them.
