Where can you take your children on a Saturday morning at 11 a.m.? How about the Glendale Centre Theatre in Downtown Glendale? Now playing every Saturday until Nov. 23 is, “The Frog and the Princess.” It’s magical, funny and enchanting. Introduce your children to live theatre [and] enrich their lives. [The Glendale Centre Theatre] is a magical, great place to celebrate a birthday. Birthday parties are fun at GCT. I personally have taken my children when they were young and now take my grandchildren.

You can’t go wrong seeing the adult plays on the main stage, too. “Hairspray,” Broadway’s big musical comedy hit, is from Aug. 24 through Oct. 12. [It’s the] winner of eight Tony awards. I worked for the airlines and saw many, many wonderful Broadway plays and can honestly tell you the GCT performers are just like being in wonderful New York City – the costumes, the sets, the fabulous music and, above all, the very talented actors. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy life by going to the GCT. You won’t be sorry and you will be surprised how reasonable the plays are.
